Temporary foreign workers' rights
Employers are obligated to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, including temporary foreign workers. Workers have the right to refuse unsafe work if they believe it puts their health or safety at risk.
Your employer cannot force you to do work that you think is dangerous. They cannot fire you or refuse to pay you. Your employer must look into any danger that is reported in the workplace. Temporary foreign workers are protected from abuse, harassment, and discrimination in the workplace based on race, nationality, gender, religion, or other prohibited grounds under Canadian human rights laws. You can consult the guide prepared by Employment and Social Development Canada in 9 different languages

  - Increased Immigration Levels
  - Focus on Economic Immigration
  - New Pathways for International Graduates

  - Streamlined Immigration Processes
  - Increased Support for Newcomers
  - Family Reunification
In conclusion, the Canadian government has announced several new measures for immigration in 2023 that are aimed at making it easier for immigrants to come to Canada and contribute to the country's growth and development.
The increased immigration levels, focus on economic immigration, new pathways for international graduates, streamlined immigration processes, increased support for newcomers, and family reunification are all positive changes that will benefit Canada and its immigrants.

Changes are expected in the Express Entry system
Express Entry brings together 3 immigration programs:
⦁ Canadian Experience Class (CEC),
⦁ Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
⦁ Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).
Currently the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) conducts, every 2 weeks, Express Entry draws among candidates who have applied in one of the 3 programs CEC, FSWP and / or FSTP.
Applicants are selected based on their CRS Scores.
The CRS score indicates, among other things, the candidate's age, official language proficiency and work experience.
From 2023 The Express Entry system will not be based solely on the result of the CRS Score but will take into account the specific needs of the Canadian labor market.
Concretely, this means that even if your CRS score is relatively low, you still have a chance to be selected because other  criteria will be taken into account.
As soon as we have more information, we will post it.
